Da Gennaro Trattoria in Hannover

Since I can't stand wheat flour anymore, I usually can't enjoy pizza or pasta. Quite different in Da Gennaro! Here, every pizza is also available gluten-free for an extra charge of 3 euros. That's not a little, but this gluten-free pizza tastes absolutely and not at all gluten-free. But extremely tasty. Exactly how you would imagine a really tasty, original Italian pizza! Just a dream. Thin base, not drowned in tomato sauce, but provided with a thin, pleasantly seasoned tomato sauce and real mozzarella. I had the variant with fresh rocket and ham - I can only recommend it. I also tried the Diavola and it is also really tasty and a little hot. Exactly how it should be. Here someone knows his trade! At the moment, due to the partial lockdown, it is only open at lunchtime and you can only pick it up or have it delivered, but even then this pizza (normal or gluten-free) tastes simply fantastic. These pizzas just make you happy! Mille grazie! Only a few days later we were back and the gluten-free pizza salami (with salami piccante - at my request) and the normal pizza da gennaro (with buffalo mozzarella, Italian mortadella and fresh rocket) were really great again! A visit to Da Gennaro always puts me in a really good mood. Definitely try it out, even if you - like me - actually live in a completely different part of the city. The way is worth it!

Amazing place to go for a pizza from Napoli! The owners are incredibly nice (they only accept a specific card and we didn't have it, so we scrambled all the coins we hafld but were a little short and he let it be with a smile and his wife told us to come again. Such sweet people.

I finally found a pizzeria that will take me straight to Italy with its pizza and Italian flair. Real Italian mozzarella is used, fruity tomato sauce and the very best - a great dough! Great, I'll be back
